Project Context
Foot Anstey approached 9FT Tall for project management support after they identified a resource gap that would threatened the delivery of their new case management system. With one project manager absorbing additional projects, Foot Anstey faced a shortage of project management capacity, difficulty onboarding teams to the new system, and tightening deadlines. At the time, two teams had already been onboarded, and 9FT Tall was brought in as interim project manager to maintain momentum and onboard further teams. The main goal was to implement a more efficient, user-friendly, and automated case management system.
Project Delivery
9FT Tall took over project management responsibilities to ensure that legal teams were onboarded to the Engage system without disrupting ongoing work or timelines. This involved managing a cross-functional project team, engaging with stakeholders in each legal department, planning and delivering project milestones, identifying and managing risks, and providing regular updates to the executive team. Coordination with other project managers ensured alignment across workstreams, while communication with the training and adoption team supported effective change management.
Outcomes
As a result, seven additional teams were successfully onboarded to Engage by the target date. The project also introduced improved engagement protocols, including clearer roles and expectations, and established regular communication forums, leading to greater efficiency and collaboration across Foot Anstey’s legal teams.
