On a mission to make chocolate exciting again, the very first Hotel Chocolat shop opened its doors to customers in North London in 2004. Today, they have 126 stores, as well as cafés, restaurants, outlets, and factory stores. They also have over 40 stores in Japan, and a luxury eco-hotel on a working cacao farm in the Caribbean. Hotel Chocolat are on a continual journey of development and growth, yet everything they do is still guided by the three basic values that they started with: authenticity, originality and ethics.

Project Management Capability Build and Portfolio Review
Having recently been acquired by Mars, Hotel Chocolat were going through a period of high-change. A new 5-year strategy outlined plans to drive customer experience, efficiency, and employee engagement.
With many initiatives and programmes already in flight in the HR Function, Hotel Chocolat approached Nine Feet Tall for support in the upskilling of Project Management capabilities as part of a holistic HR portfolio strategy.
Project Management Training
Nine Feet Tall delivered Project Management and Change Management Training to cover findamentals including: The project lifecycle from initiation to closure, roles & responsibilities of a Project Manager, stakeholder engagement, and an introduction to Change Management. Nine Feet Tall also helped support Hotel Chocolat's portfolio design and vision statement.
RESULTS
The training was received positively and Hotel Chocolat are upskilled to deliver successful Project Management.
Delivery was really engaging, the time was managed really well. The materials are relevant and will be really beneficial in supporting our progression as a team. The examples and exercises were relevant to our current projects.
