Megger is a leading British manufacturing company with over 1,500 employees worldwide producing electrical test equipment for power applications.
Megger had recently launched a five-year roadmap supported by significant business and IT change programmes. They established a new Delivery Office to coordinate these efforts. Megger recognised that to deliver on this roadmap they would need to invest in building the change management capability within their team. Where previous projects had faced challenges around adoption, consistency of delivery, and unclear communication, they now looked to Nine Feet Tall to address this.
Megger engaged Nine Feet Tall to assess their change maturity, identify areas for improvement, and build a structured approach to support their PLM and HRIS transformation programmes.
Nine Feet Tall began by conducting a Change Health Check to assess current practices and organisational readiness. This included interviews with key stakeholders and playback sessions with the executive team to share findings and priorities.
Based on these insights, a tailored Change Toolkit was developed to align with Megger’s project management framework, making change practices simpler and more practical for teams to use day to day. Leadership and sponsor coaching strengthened role clarity and confidence, while a new Change Champion Network was established across global sites to embed change locally and sustain adoption.
Comprehensive change strategies and plans were created for both PLM and HRIS, incorporating risk, benefit, and resource assessments. Finally, change governance was integrated into the Delivery Office structure, giving clear visibility of progress and impact at portfolio level.
The work resulted in a consistent change methodology and governance framework that created a common language for delivering transformation. Leaders and project managers gained confidence and capability in managing change effectively, and the organisation saw improved adoption and engagement across its global programmes.
Megger now has a tailored toolkit and strategy aligned to its business objectives, with an executive team united behind a shared vision. The transformation work strengthened alignment, reduced delivery risk, and set a solid foundation for the success of future initiatives.
