Organisational Design

Following a merger between Volvo Trucks & Renault Trucks, the company embarked on a transformation programme including a relocation to consolidate their back-office functions and reduce their operational overheads. Nine Feet Tall was engaged to manage the HR and OD elements of the programme. The first phase focused the preparation, validation and planning of the to-be’ organisational design with the senior leadership team. The second phase of work concentrated on delivery and implementation. Nine Feet Tall also managed the preparation and delivery of all communications from the HR team and engaged with senior leaders and teams to help shape a new ‘Volvo Renault Trucks’ culture.

Reduced footprint through the closure of Dunstable office, 30% reduction in headcount and associated costs through consolidation and improved sales conversion through better collaboration.

Nine Feet Tall proved to be an extremely valuable partner throughout this process. Had it not been for their composure, thoughtfulness and general acting of their values, we would not have gotten through this difficult period as smoothly as we have done.
